We're hiring

Help people read what their AI writes.

We're building PrettyMD for people turning AI-generated plans into real work. Help us make reading, understanding, and giving feedback feel effortless.

The work is in
the details.

A document that reads beautifully. A comment that lands on the right sentence. An edit that changes exactly what you intended. These are the things we care about.

Start with the reader.

Build for the person reviewing a spec, questioning a plan, or leaving feedback for their AI agent.

Keep the tool quiet.

Clear typography, useful interactions, and fewer interruptions. Every detail should make the document easier to understand.

Respect the file.

Local Markdown stays local Markdown. Reliable saves and predictable behavior matter as much as a beautiful screen.

Find your place.

Two open roles.
Both remote, from anywhere.

Engineering · Remote, anywhere

Product Engineer

Make a desktop tool feel fast, dependable, and quietly delightful on Mac and Windows.

What you'll work on

  • Build reading, editing, and inline commenting features in Electron, React, and TypeScript.
  • Make file handling, document performance, and everyday interactions reliable across Mac and Windows.
  • Take a feature from a rough idea to a polished release, including the edge cases and checks that make it trustworthy.

What we're looking for

  • You've shipped interactive software and can show the decisions you made along the way.
  • You're comfortable with React and TypeScript, and curious about desktop apps, text editors, and local files.
  • You notice the small failures: a lost selection, a slow document, a save that didn't do what someone expected.

A problem you might tackle: keep a comment attached to the right text after a document changes, without ever quietly moving someone's feedback to the wrong sentence.

Design · Remote, anywhere

Product Designer

Shape a reading and feedback experience that feels simple, even when the document isn't.

What you'll work on

  • Design the flows for reading, annotating, reviewing changes, and editing Markdown in place.
  • Refine typography, spacing, states, and interactions so the app feels like a coherent tool.
  • Turn conversations with users into prototypes, test the awkward parts, and work closely with engineering to ship them.

What we're looking for

  • A portfolio of thoughtful product work, with your reasoning as well as the finished screens.
  • A strong eye for typography and interaction, including keyboard use, accessibility, and the states between screens.
  • You can simplify a complicated workflow and explain what you chose to leave out.

A problem you might tackle: help a reader leave precise feedback on an AI-generated plan without losing their place or breaking their concentration.
